6^th Ward – Early Voting

During both the March 2006 Primary Election and the November 2006 General Election, the CBEC designated the 3^rd District Chicago Police Station (7040 S. Cottage Grove Ave.) an early voting site. On January 18, 2007, the CBEC announced that the 6th ward early voting site for the February 2007 Municipal Election will be the Whitney Young Library, 7901 S. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.

513 votes were cast by 6^th Ward voters during the March 2006 early voting period, which accounted for approximately 4% of the 13,586 total votes cast.

During the November 2006 early voting period, the number of 6^th Ward votes cast increased 53% to 787, which accounted for approximately 4% of the 18,367 total votes cast.
